Contributes to Horticulture and Crop Science undergraduate curriculum by teaching 10-13 credit hours of undergraduate level courses in horticulture per academic year as assigned by the Chair. Serves as undergraduate coordinating advisor for the Horticulture specialization within the Sustainable Plant Systems major; serves as coordinating advisor for the Horticulture and Landscape Design minors; contributes to undergraduate recruiting and outreach events as needed; provide service to the department on appropriate committees; serves as advisor to Landscape and Floriculture Forum (LAFF) student organization and/or Pi Alpha Xi (PAX) national honor society for ornamental horticulture; serves as teaching lab coordinator to support the lab component of departmental courses as needed; advises and mentors undergraduate independent research projects as appropriate.
