Responsible for the performance of the customer care and inside sales team by supervising customer care, inside sales representatives and others and enforcing company processes and policies. Provides customer solutions hands on and by training, coaching and mentoring employees on how to deliver the best customer care and inside sales experience possible. This full time, at will, and exempt position reports to the Sales Director.
Customer Service Team Leader experience of at least 2 years.
Success in a previous leadership role is critical preferably in a customer service and inside sales capacity.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills are a must.
A proven track record of managing processes and implementing solutions.
A prior history of managing to and meeting identified service goals within your customer service team.
Must be process oriented and able to document new procedures to meet ever changing requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint with above average Excel skills.
Salesforce.com experience preferred.
Description OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Management, supervision and coaching staff to maximize productivity and provide exceptional customer care.
Ensure service levels are met by coordinating and adjusting workloads in a timely manner.
Must drive high performance from customer care and inside sales team to help make our customers more successful and meet our commercial goals.
Ensure full adherence to applicable shipping rules and regulations.
Identify areas for process improvement and ways to maximize resources.
Work closely with all of the organization to maintain exceptional customer relations and develop areas to expand potential business.
Ensure accuracy of work product including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
Handle major incidents that cannot be resolved by the team.
Focus on Team Member development, coaching, and mentoring.
Support all special projects.
Investigate customer's problems and find solutions.
Communicate with customers via phone, email, or letter.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two or more years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience in business, Agribusiness, marketing, finance, or related field.
Additional Salary Information: Salary range (50 to 65K/year – depending upon the education and experience of the applicant).
